Our website does not have the intention to collect data from visitors to our website.

BVA International vzw processes your personal data because of:

Membership administration

Filling out the volunteer registry

Dispatching of our bimonthly magazine

Dispatching of the rings ordered

Being able to contact you if necessary to fulfil our services.

 

How long do we keep these data

BVA International vzw will not keep your personal data any longer than is strictly necessary to realize the goals for which we collect the data. Because of the nature of our services we will keep your data for the membership administration until you submit a request to remove them. The membership number you received when enrolling in our organization will remain linked to you, even after cancellation of the membership. Should you enrol again you will again receive your old membership number.

Sharing with others

BVA International vzw will never sell your data to third parties. Your data is only provided to third parties should this be needed to fulfil our agreement with you (shipment of our magazine) or to comply with a legal obligation. Your data will never be passed to other members without first contacting you and receiving your approval to supply your email address. Address and phone numbers are never given.

You have the right to review your personal data, to correct it or to remove it. If you have questions or remarks regarding the data processing you can send a specific request to the person who deals with the member administration (penningmeester@bva-international.com). This way your privacy is fully protected. BVA International vzw will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within two weeks at the latest. BVA International vzw takes the protection of your data very seriously and takes the appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized modification. Should you have the impression that your data are not properly protected or that there are indications of abuse, contact us.
